Blind

A forced bet before the flop by one or two players, that ensures there is always money in the pot. The blinds generally moves clockwise one player every hand, and is usually comprised of one small blind and one big blind.

I've noticed that a lot of players bet aggressively when they've paid a blind to the pot.
